Hey Y'all! My name is Mallory and I'm an ER nurse from East Texas. I can't wait to get to know y'all, so let me begin by helping y'all get to know me.
Let me start off by explaining the picture you see above. I'm currently engaged to my high school sweetheart, and trying to balance work with wedding planning. Not to mention the fact we are currently renovating our first house. Hectic, busy, chaotic …. all very good ways to describe this phase of life. For example, only 8 days into owning our house we had a huge water leak coming from the fridge hook-up and we had to rip up all of the carpet in the living room and dining room. I felt it only fitting to introduce myself with a photo that represents this well - note the walls pre-sheetrock, color swatches in my arm with my wedding magazine, wedding countdown (about 90 days since that has been updated), unpacked boxes and my sad attempt at putting my fall décor out. See... Chaos.
Exciting, highly anticipated and joyful... are three MUCH better ways to describe my life currently. I am learning day by day to roll with the punches and embrace the crazy, and disorganization.
My Fiancé and I are getting Married May 9, 2020.
I have been adding to my wedding board on Pinterest since 2012... so lets just say the wedding planning isn't all that bad.
I own a small business with two of my friends called DKM & Me. It basically involves anything you can possibly make with a Cricut. Decals, shirts, soap, wooden signs, earrings etc. Getting crafty is the best stress reliever FO SHO and I'm thankful for friends who share the same hobby.
I love traveling, going to concerts, rainy days, thrifting, decorating, crafting, spending time with my family and my pug Bug.
I am SO stinkin excited to begin blogging. Some of my biggest inspirations are my blogger gals I follow on insta and getting to follow in their footsteps and be creative in my own way is THE coolest thing to me. Plus I tried the whole "vlogging" thing this past summer and lets just say that is definitely not my calling.
Thanks for reading & being a part of this journey,
